Description
We are excited to present the eighth edition of the National Kidney Foundation's Primer on Kidney Diseases . The Primer has been a key resource for students, residents, fellows, and clinicians ever since publication of the first edition by Arthur Greenberg and his editorial team in 1993. This eighth edition has been extensively revised and updated to address the quickly changing landscape of clinical nephrology while preserving the accessibility and utility that define the Primer as an essential resource for clinical challenges in kidney disease, electrolyte and acid-base disorders, and hypertensive conditions. This edition brings change to the Primer . Dena Rifkin has joined Andrew Bomback and Mark Perazella on our editorial team, providing a breadth of expertise and a wealth of clinical experience to this effort. Our group remains committed to the careful selection of content and a diligent editorial process, stressing usability and clinical applicability.
